The ServSafe certification program is offered by the National Restaurant Association and is recognized by more than half of all state restaurant associations. The program provides food safety training, exams and educational materials to more than 375,000 foodservice managers.
How long does it take to complete the course?
The ServSafe certification course is a food safety training program that takes about six hours to complete. The course covers topics such as foodborne illnesses, personal hygiene, and safe food handling practices. Upon completion of the course, you will receive a ServSafe certification that is valid for five years.
