  • If you are retired: Your pension certificate.

  • Minor’s birth certificate
  • A photocopy of a valid passport belonging to a parent or legal guardian.

  • Invitation letter from a relative or close friend.

Note:

How Long The Portugal Visa Is Valid

With a Schengen visa, you can easily stay in Portugal for a maximum 90days. The Portugal Embassy or Consulate determines the duration of your visa. Visas are issued in the different categories as follows:

Single entry Schengen visa: With a single entry visa, you can enter only Portugal and stay there for 1 week, 2 weeks, 1 month, and so on. In this visa, you will not have permission to return after you leave. 

Multiple entry Schengen visa: with a multiple entry visa, you can enter Portugal but also n other Schengen countries several times throughout your visa validity time. The validity period of stay in the Schengen Zone is a maximum of 90 days.
